Once the tyrannical enforcers of a subterranean empire, the Netrahka have since been reduced to a mere echo of their former might after a millennium of rebellion from their subjugates. Now, the last of these arthropodal creatures are recouping their losses beneath Volkerra, fuelled by rampantly shredding through its bedrock, consuming the very constituents that create mana in their rawest form. Earthquakes, sinkholes and fissures erupting with legions of Swarmers have stricken Volkerra's surface as a result, triggering violent skirmishes with the Volkari, who are not yet privy to the true scale of the Netrahka's infestation.
